    Marketing-to-Full-pay 211: A Strategic Approach to Your Recruiting Efforts
    Most practitioners, handling the marketing side of independent schools, select recruitment activities based on previous experiences at other schools and/or what is being implemented by the current school.  It’s too often a tactical approach.  Few professionals seem to arrive at the school with a strategy – like a coach, a CEO, or movie producer does in each respective area.  The marketing and recruitment programs need to be strategic with the bottom line of being relevant to the prospective family.   The Five Pillars methodology serves as a foundation for your strategic approach to marketing.  You create a paradigm and implement a program that is unique to your school and fits your target audience, yielding stronger results.
    The Marketing-to-Full-pay 211 program requires you to step back and answer necessary questions such as:

    • Are you being customer-centric in your marketing approach?
    • Are you demonstrating that you have the solution to the educational needs of the customer?
    • Are you offering an admission experience, not just an administrative process, which the prospects value and want to complete to the end?

     

    Then, through group work and the workshop facilitator, you will begin to evolve your program into a more effective strategy to recruit full-pay families.

    Learning Objectives:

    1.       Apply the concept of “what is the problem to be solved for the customer?

    2.       Utilize a customer-centric experience over a school-centric experience

    3.       Identify the different types of competitors and the approach needed for each

    4.       Prepare a strategic admission experience for recruiting full-pay families

    5.       Develop a touchpoint strategy for the recruitment and selection of full-pay students

    6.       Utilize the “Educational Expert” strategy of the Five Pillars to increase full-pay inquiries

    7.       Identify the elements that affect enrollment and re-enrollment

     

    This program will include  7 1/2-hours of training with a possibility of a working lunch (60 minutes).  It is a 1-day event.  Recommended time is 8:00 a.m.  –  4:30 p.m.  This allows 45 minutes of flexible time to use as needed.
